Library Board

Public Meetings

The Penn Township Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of alternate months, starting in January. Meetings are held at 7:15 p.m. in the library at the Penn Township Municipal Building, 2001 Municipal Court, Harrison City, PA 15636.

Duties

The Penn Area Public Library was established to provide free public library service. It is authorized to act as the sole agent of township government to provide public library service to residents and non-residents of Penn Township.

The Penn Township Library Board sets the library policies and authorizes the hiring of employees that operate the library on a daily basis.
